The Banner Bar
The Banner Bar (U.S. Patent Pending) is the best solution to stabilize a banner when installed between two metal fence posts. The Banner Bar prevents the posts from collapsing inward when the banner is under wind load. Guaranteed to increase the life of your banner when installed correctly (especially in windy conditions).

The Banner Bar (U.S. Patent Pending) was designed by GoBigBanners.com to solve a problem that occurs when you install a banner between two vertical steel posts. When banners are initially installed in this manner, they look fine until they are exposed to wind. Once the banner wind loads, the pressure on the banner causes the posts to pull inward and then the banner is no longer tensioned between the posts. The banner will sag in the middle making your message difficult to read. If your banner remains loose for even as little as a day in windy conditions, the banner will quickly start to tatter due to the constant flapping in the wind.
The Banner Bar prevents the posts from collapsing inward so your banner will remain tight. The flexibility of the included bungees will provide enough "give" for the banner to absorb reasonably windy conditions. If your banner will be installed for an extended amount of time, you will need to periodically check the condition of the bungees as they may become weathered or torn. Replace your bungees with new as needed.
We tested our original Banner Bar for nine months at a location that regularly sees 20 to 30+ MPH winds. The 18 oz. double sided banner installed at this test location never came loose and is still installed after nearly two years of use. The bungees have been replaced twice during that same timeframe. After the initial nine month test, we redesigned The Banner Bar with a new T-post Connector which improved the appearance and made installation easier. We also added the PVC post covers to improve the appearance and to increase the life of the bungees. Our current design is now U.S. Patent Pending.
What height of banner can be used with The Banner Bar?
The maximum height of your banner will be determined by the length of posts you use. In other words, if you plan to use 5'-6" TP133 posts, your maximum banner height will be 36" to 40", allowing 12" to 15" of post below grade. If you plan to install a banner that is 48" high or greater, you will need longer TP133 posts.
Can The Banner Bar be used with larger banners?
Yes, The Banner Bar can be configured with multiple sections using our Center T-post Connector. The Center T-post Connector allows a center T-post to be added for use with 12' or 16' long banners. This type of installation requires the purchase of two or more Banner Bar kits. We also offer an Angled T-post Connector to be used when installing your banners in a "V" configuration.
This photo represents the problem that is solved by The Banner Bar. We produced this banner for a client and within four days after install, the banner was sagging and unreadable.
The Banner Bar provides support for your banner, keeping it stretched taut even in windy conditions. The Banner Bar omits the need for unsightly "guy wires"
