3' x 8' banners are great for many applications including team sponsorship, business marketing, grand openings, etc.  When designing your 3' x 8' banner, make sure you design your banner to have proper readability for your specific application.  Reference our Font Sizing Guide when choosing the font size for your message.  If your message requires greater readability, consider a larger banner.  If your message is short and simple, you may end up having more "white space" than needed, so consider purchasing an alternate size such as a 2' x 8' or 28" x 8' (Table Front Banner).  See the following examples showing a well designed 3' x 8' banner vs. a banner that has too much "white space":
